Spain shares the Iberian peninsula with Portugal, its neighbor to the west. France borders Spain to the northeast, across the Pyrenees Mountains. To the north of Spain is the Bay of Biscay, part of the Atlantic Ocean. The Mediterranean Sea is on Spain's east and south coasts. Spain has some Atlantic coast south of Portugal to the Strait of Gibraltar that separates Europe from Africa. Spain is the home of Paella, Flamenco, the artist Goya and the famous Prado museum.
